TCK

Passion Project:

The Community Kids was started up by Mr. Wesley Koh and myself a few years back. Although we had very little knowledge and lack of talent, our love for design and streetwear brought us together, creating TCK. We're not trying to be the next big company; not the next Hundreds, Supreme, Obey, whatever. Our priorities in life are family, friends, school, and church. We just want to show people the passion that we have through our designs. We want you to be intrigued, moved and inspired.

Support or Die.
JK.  Check us out though.

Long Live Xanga

Xanga was probably the first outlet I had when I was younger that allowed me to freely write whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.

Xanga was pre-facebook and pre-myspace; if you were cool and on the internet, you had a cool Xanga blog. Unfortunately, writing was my worst subject since my youth - come on, I'm an engineer now - so instead of having actual posts that were interesting, my cool blog contained html coding that looked disgustingly vomit-like. I probably had zero cool posts about stories or interesting thoughts. And my writing was probably at like a 6th grade level in 8th grade.

But when I actually started maturing and writing actual posts on my Xanga, I think my reading and writing level strangely went up. I stopped html-fucking my blog and decided to use it for what it was. I'm not saying Xanga got me into UCLA or anything, but I can't deny that it definitely helped me become a better writer. I would probably give more credit to Xanga than to my writing teacher from Elite, Darren(?), who didn't teach me shit. So Xanga.com, I thank you for your freedom of creativity, your undying source of memories, and allowing me to express myself through the English language.

I picked out one of my favorite posts as I looked back at my Xanga:

Fight
So my sister and I were having a conversation one day, and we started talking about how I never hit her back when she hits me. It's only because I'm such a nice, kind hearted little brother. Anyways, I said, "One day, we should have a brawl where you get to hit me, but I also get a chance to beat you too." So we started thinking of rules to our battle. It would last for 30 seconds, where we both get to go all out on each other. She would be equipped with a "stick", something like a 2x4 or a baseball bat, while I get nothing. It was weird talking about this, because we were both so confident. She believes being equipped with a "stick" would give her a huge advantage. I believe she has no agility whatsoever and she wouldn't be able to take full advantage of a stick. I think I'd take one hit, and then easily take the stick away from her, and then pound her face. But she thinks that if we were to have a fight like this, I wouldn't hit her back. That's why she's so confident. If she did hit me though, and it hurt, I think I would hit her a couple of times too. Yeah, so what if I plan on hitting my sister. I've had to endure worse.

Anyways, it was just a funny conversation we had...

Two Way Street

"It's not what he wants. Josh wants to be a Brown for life, but love requires a two-way street."

-Peter Schaffer, Sports Agent

Hahaha how true you are, you sleezy little sports agent.

A Good Friend

of mine is helping me realize the beauties of my life.
Some of the most important things in my life,
he is helping me see how lucky I am to have it.

Sigh - life is good right now.
