....FROM MIDTERMS!

Oh man. This quarter is tough, but I really feel good about it. I've been making myself less and less cool and making myself more popular amongst my books and notebooks. Hopefully I can finish strong and completely rape my classes. Yeaaaaaa. +++ Positivity, baby. +++

2 more weeks until Finals. BRING IT BITCHES.

Song of the Week

In light of the date and the video shown during KCM on Thursday, here is the Song of the Week.

정엽 - "You Are My Lady"

Even in Korean, this has to be the most depressing song I've heard.

Random Memory #1

When I was about 7, my grandma was at home babysitting me and another baby. Back then I was really jealous of older people when they talked on the phone and had fun sounding conversations. So when my grandma wasn't really watching, I picked up the phone in the house, and because I wanted to talk to somebody, I had to punch in a phone number. At that time I only knew 2 different phone numbers; the house number, and 911. So being my stupid self, I punched in 911. When the dispatcher went through and the person answered "911 emergency", I just blew a raspberry into the speaker, hung up, and ran away laughing.

I don't really remember what happened after, but I hid in a closet while my grandma had to get a translator from the emergency police to tell them that it was ME who called them. I got in big trouble for that.

Memory Loss

Dang, so today, while I was walking to work from my lunch break, I walked up the stairs in Haines Hall, and I was thinking about the "Random 25 facts" notes that EVERYONE is starting to do on facbeook. And I thought about what I put, and my 25 facts are really gay, and not all of them have to do with me. And then while I was walking, something triggered my brain to think back on earlier times in life. It was a really good and funny memory that would have brought people joy if I shared it with them. So while I was thinking about the past, I thought to myself "Man, this is gonna be such a good blog post. And I can put some interesting stuff on my blog finally." But that was about 14 hours ago, and now while I sit here trying to remember what I thought of, nothing but a blank comes to mind. :(

OOOOOOOOOOOH! I JUST THOUGHT OF IT.

OKAY - Here's my idea. I want to just post random events or things that happened about my life before college. So starting from the next post, get ready for fun filled adventures of Charles's past.

And I never really learned if it's supposed to be
- Charles' -
OR
- Charles's -

F My Life

So I hear that the new saying in town is "FML", which stands for "F-ck My Life." It's very clever, and I enjoy it. It's human nature to enjoy other people's downfalls and mishaps. There is even a new website for it (I added it onto my Randumb Links on the left side).

But I think it's so sad that we get a laugh out of people's misery. I think it's worse that sometimes we say those things to try and get a laugh out of others. I've noticed it recently and I tend to bring down others to get a laugh. It made me sad to realize it, and now I want to change. That is my goal for the next few.... lifetime. So if I discourage you, or bring you down in any way, I am truly sorry. I never mean what I say, and just know that I am working on it. Working verrrrry hard.

Binary Star - "Reality Check"

They have some of the sickest lines in this song.

UCLA v USC pt. 2

The Actual Game:

- I sat next to Norm Chow. Or he was across the aisle form me. But I was sitting right next to the aisle, and he was on the other side of the aisle. What a baller.
- U$C plays so dirty. So many cheap shot fouls and you can see them talk a lot of trash. They just look like thugs too, all tatted up compared to the professional, clean cut look that the Bruins have. Losers in all aspects of life.
- Big Balls Rick announced two new coaching positions. I'm so pumped for football season already!
- Lil' Romeo is on the $C team. HAHHAHAHAHAHA. Hold on, sorry, his name is no longer Lil' Romeo, just "Romeo". Percy Miller scored 1 point and actually cried a little bit as he was shooting free throws. Amazing.
- Props to Dwight Lewis who quietly got 20 points for the Ho-jans. Too bad everyone sucked. Especially Hackett whose largest numerical stat were the 5 fouls he committed.
- It was great to see a bunch of old geezers at the game who yelled as much as the student section did. They cussed out the refs and said "F--- SC" just as loudly as we did. Bomb.com
- Jrue Holiday is the greatest freshman baller in the nation. And the other freshmen, if they all stay (which they should), will be SO freaking good next year. Pumped for next basketball season already!
- Was it worth it to sleep on concrete for the night to watch UCLA crush U$C?

YES IT WAS!

UCLA v USC

Currently : 12:35 AM

Camping out is an experience! It's so interesting to see a bunch of random people bust out their tents, sleeping bags, and anything to camp out in front of Pauley Pavilion. It's trippy because I walk by Pauley Pavilion almost 4 times a day, and tonight, I'm gonna be sleeping right by the walkway I go through everyday. Oh well. First picture is of all the tents and stuff. It's crazy to see how creative fools get. A group of guys had 3 TV's set up, playing video games, with feet and feet of extension cables. Of course, a couple of tents had their share of alcohol and marijuana which, in time, becomes bothersome. But other than that, I am excited, even though I am only lining up to get tickets. The second picture is of our little set up. Our 3 man, 3 laptop, 3 sleeping bag, plus wireless internet set up is nice. No sleeping bag needed.

It's now about 12:49 pm. Hopefully we will make it through the night and get to watch an epic UCLA v USC game tomorrow night. PEACE

The Community Kids

I am excited.
2009 will be a good year for the Community Kids.

I need to shower. I think it has been a little bit over 48 hours since I have last showered. So, peace out.
