A - Acrylick

I think Acrylick is one of my favorite brands. I'm not even sure who started it or how they started, but I love their designs. That's the whole point right? Their brand is based on sending out a message through their designs and clothes. I may not see it in all of their clothing, but a lot of designs are made to be interpreted in some way. They use hip hop, girls, kids, and Los Angeles to show their souls and the people they are. I think unlike the bigger streetwear brands, Acrylick comes out with small samples of designs (probably because they are relatively new), and they almost never water themselves thin. If I were to choose a brand most similar to who I am, I would probably choose Acrylick. They're even located in the 626! Props to Acrylick - I will support your cause.

Alphabet Aerobics

I want to post regularly. So to plan my posts, I will use one word starting with the post's appropriate letter (starting with A, going through Z), and blog about it. I just wanna see if I can go through with it. So without further adieu...

Goal by Summer 09

I had to do some really homo research for this picture, but it shows what I want perfectly. I don't want a beautiful black boyfriend, it's that freaking USHER CUT I want. I don't even know what it's called - is it the hip bone's muscle, or the lower lower abdomen, or like the pubic muscle or something? Doesn't matter, I'm gonna get my stomach freaking ripped so I can get that cut. By the Summer of 2009, I will have that. Hopefully...

Rain

I hate the rain.

The weather outside gets pretty ugly. Gray clouds fill the sky, everything is wet, and there's the constant pattering sound of the rain. Rain also makes it colder in the house. It's freezing here, and I have to wear these gay looking slippers because we have hardwood floors and not carpet. And going outside is just disgusting. It ruins your clothes, shoes, and makes you colder than it already is.

But you can definitely get some good deep thought time with the rain. It just goes perfectly with the mood of thinking of life's mysteries. Maybe it's because the rain is kinda mysterious too. But either way, sitting and looking out the window in deep thought always feels nice. And cozying up next to the fireplace with something hot to drink is nice too.

I just hope the rain lets up.

Taking a Break

This is one of the three worst weeks on the year. The first finals week of the fall quarter. I just finished one of my three finals (yay), but that was the easiest one. Still gotta study for tomorrow's, which is in approximately 18 hours. But for those of you who are stressing out and studying at the same time I am, take a quick break and watch these ridiculous videos. A good laugh can re-energize your brain, and focusing on pointless material will be simpler.

I'm not a weekly SNL watcher, but I love watching their random clips online and I'm a huge fan of Andy Samberg now. Here are the goods:

Regret

Why is regret such a strong emotion?

I feel like in life, people always remember the things they COULD have done or SHOULD have done, but didn't. I can't fall asleep right now because I keep thinking about what could have happened during Turkey Bowl. Man, it still gets me boiling to think that we could have easily won the whole thing. I should have spun more, or ran faster,or stayed on my feet longer, or complained to the refs more, or this or that. I hate looking back at the past because it has already passed, but I can't help to think about what could have been. I'm sure that I would be able to sleep better if we had won. Ah man, it's driving my thoughts crazy right now. I'll get over it though.

I hate regret, and I hate using "could have" in my words. So pathetic.

My leg still hurts. Boo. Screw school. Hating life right now.
