Future

Sometimes it's hard to keep the future in mind.

But as my father says:

"When you study, study hard.
When you play, play hard.
Whatever you do, go all out."

Overprocess, Crash&Burn

Action:
Too much thinking
Overanalyzing
Snappy
Making things up in my head

Result:
Winding up, getting tighter and tighter
Crash
&
Burn

I envy those who can easily confide in and speak their minds to others.

Dodger Game

I just got home from one of the greatest Dodgers games I've attended.

Many reasons:

- Firstly, I went with my Young Nak small group and a few other friends who also decided to go. Although there wasn't much bonding time, it was fun to go with a group of people you know you're going to end up bonding with.

- Secondly, the Dodgers won!

- It was free Dodger Blanket Night! And I not only got a free blanket.... but I got TWO free blankets! And the blankets aren't ghetto; they're super soft and having two is definitely better than having one.

- It was probably one of the hardest games to watch. The Pirates scored 3 in the first, and their starting pitcher had a perfect game through 3 innings. I was super nervous throughout the game because of the tight score, but we got close when we scored 2 in the 5th(?) - not sure when. Then the Dodgers continued to blank the Pirates until we scored in the bottom of the 9th to tie it up. Oh that leads to another reason....

- The game went into extra innings! Not only extra innings, but 4 extra innings. Ups the excitement of the game exponentially.

- We got to ride in the secret Dodger elevator, going from this....

..to this!

- Lastly, Ethier's game winning 2-run homerun was just nuts. We had such a good view of it and the sound that the bat made was incredible. I was screaming myself hoarse, but I didn't care. The joy I received from the game tonight almost made up for the crappy summer I had.

Top off the incredible game with BCD, and I'm good to sleep for days on in.
Goodnight everyone.

Craving

..Like an 8 month pregnant woman:

Sushi:
Spicy tunas, Spicy salmons, Rainbow Rolls, Dragon Rolls, Deepfried California Rolls, Unagiiii, Raw fish please!

Chili:
Good quality, super greasy, super meaty chili. Burgers, fries, hot dogs, whatevers. Looks like shit, but tastes so good.

In-N-Out:
Haven't had a double-double in forevers. Maybe I'll go for a 3x3 next time I go.

Empty stomach + Food in mind = Hard to sleep

Update

Alicia?

Jane Fonda the Honda?

Girl Name

Dark Gray Honda Accord:

She needs a name!
Here are the conditions:

1. I would like it to be a girl name. Even though she doesn't look feminine, I like the irony.

2. She needs to be named before her numerical/alphabetical disaster of a license plate comes in. Or else, she'll be called 6T2Z76S.

3. Nothing too generic please. I'd rather not have another Jennifer, Christine, or Sarah in my life. (No offense to those that I know already.)

4. No ghetto-name references please.

Good day!

Study Fail

So I think this happens to me all the time.

I have an uncontrollable A.D.D. urge to blog whenever I have things to study. It's happened so many times in the past, and I never learn my lesson. =/ Oh well.

Around this time of the quarter (it's technically the end of summer quarter for me), I always look ahead. I always envision myself doing GREAT, WONDERFUL, SPECTACULAR things in the near future. I rarely ever complete things tasks, but it's always fun to distract myself from my current state of shittyness.

Time to be one of these until December. Bye society.

Almost Famous

"So Russell...
what do you love about music?"

This is probably one of my favorite scenes from the movie.

Music is real.

Ramblings

Both of my ankles feel tender after I run. I probably shouldn't be playing for a while. Doesn't feel quite right yet...

After one whole year of working in this Department of Sociology, at UCLA, I think it is time to move on. This place sucks...

I hate haircuts. It's such a drastic change, and the potential for a bad hairdo is so great. But it's summer, and it's hot, and my hair doesn't help me cool down at all...

I am soooooo sleeeeeepyyyy at work right nowwwww...............

BYAH!
