Cut to Free

Sometimes I wish I could just get a huge pair of scissors and free myself from everything I'm tied to.

Baby Don't Hurt Me

What is love?

When you love a friend,
and you continue to give give give in the relationship,
but when you ask for something, and you are rejected,
do you continue to love that "friend"?

If you don't continue to love that friend,
was it love to begin with?

Is it love if you seek something in return?
Or is true love when you seek nothing in return?

It's always hard to see someone cry.

But when you see a grown 1st-generation Korean adult man cry... emotions are stirred.

Identity

The first step to truth is to BELIEVE.

As Pastor David spoke this message a couple of Sundays ago, it really hit me.  We should know that we are first and foremost God's creation, and that we were made with purpose and with love and grace.  We are not worthless - why would God make worthless creations?  Once we understand, grasp, and BELIEVE our identity in Christ, then we can start to grow.

Once you label yourself, you start to grow into that label.

Late Update

I am no longer a resident in Westwood, Los Angeles, CA.
No more Apartment 317 on Ohio Ave.
No more late night runs to Yoshinoya.
No more random kick backs.
No easy ride back from school.
No more walking to Westwood Village to grab some grub.

I am officially a student commuter from home.

I definitely miss the apartment environment.
But...

No more empty fridge.
No more sharing rooms, bathrooms, parking spaces.
No more coin-operated laundry.
No more shuttle.
No loud lady across the apartment that yells at us for being loud at 9pm but talks mothereffing loud at 3pm on her phone on her balcony.
No more Yoshinoya-dependency.

Pros and cons.
Feels good to be home though.
La Familia es mi vida.
