You know what sucks?
My one goal for this school year is to FINISH. Finish this damn school year and close my college career by the end of 2011. The plan is to be a UCLA Graduate by the time 2012 comes around. I've been stressing so so so much since last Spring quarter when I realized I didn't want to do a minor. I kind of slacked last year because I thought I would take a full 5th year to complete my major and minor, but now that I don't have a minor, I want to just finish my major as soon as possible. And the soonest I can finish is at the end of Fall 2011. So I'm working and stressing my ass off to complete everything and be completely finished. The light at the end of the tunnel is officially completing my major and accepting my degree. It gives me hope and motivation while I stress and grow white hairs during this school year.
BUT
I hate hearing how all the recent grads say "Being a graduate sucks." I can't wait for anything other than freedom from the stupid rules of college and a system that always seems to hold you back. College was fun, but I've never had a more painful growing process in my life. The fact that my motivation and hope is based on finishing, and that people can't stop telling me that they'd rather be in college is unsettling.
I JUST WANT TO BE DONE and GTFO!!
